Thunder Hawks Get One-Run Win at Mercer Island
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks eked out a 5-4 win versus the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles at Mercer Island Grounds. Nobody did more than third baseman Tora Tora, who captured player of the game honors. At 54-34, Ft. Polk South is in second place in the Premier AA.

It could have been a different outcome for Ft. Polk South, had it not been for Justin Forbes, the 26-year old center fielder . Forbes contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Ft. Polk South up, 4-3.

"It was a solid team effort," said Tora after the game.
