Love Boats Come Back Late to Clip Continentals
The Heron Field faithful were treated to a dramatic, walk-off win.

Chesapeake first baseman Omar Krutsinger had a good game, even if his team did not. The Continentals dropped a 7-6 decision to Lake Minnetonka at Heron Field. Krutsinger went 3 for 3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Lake Minnetonka reliever Roberto Maldonado picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Paul Workman took the loss.

Steve Murdock was the walk-off hero for Lake Minnetonka. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Love Boats designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring triple to send the teams home.

"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Murdock. "I think we showed that here."

The win puts the Love Boats at 48-38, while the Continentals drop to 41-45.
