Love Boats Continue Skid Thanks to Colomo, Thunder Hawks
In a close game at Heron Field, the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks edged the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 5-4. Ft. Polk South shortstop Raúl Colomo earned the nod as player of the game. He went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The save went to António Morterero, his 5th this season. The 5th-place Love Boats have lost 4 consecutive games.

Ft. Polk South took a 5-3 lead on Roberto Baca's 75th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Baca hit in the top of the ninth, left Lake Minnetonka pitcher Rainer Ausmus visibly frustrated.
