Ogres Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus Ithaca
|
The 2040 season is getting ugly for Ithaca.
Olympia right-hander Luis Castro pitched his team to victory over the Ithaca Fighting Imps at Imps Park. The final score was 6-2. Pero Bontempi nailed down his 1st save.
The Ogres had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 6-1, Olympia, with no one out. Ithaca, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Brant Fields dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 changeup, he flied out.
The Ogres improve their record to 26-52 with the win over Ithaca.
