Love Boats Fall to Kent, Sixshooters
|
Gerold Kent batted in 3 runs to lead Westwood to a win over Lake Minnetonka. The final score was 6-4. Kent chipped in with 2 singles and 1 home run. Pjotr Melis, who went 6.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 11 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 1. His record now stands at 5-5. Juan Delgado closed the game out for Westwood, earning his 2nd save.
Kent had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Sixshooters went on to win.
