Crescent City pitcher Gerhard Karge did his part in helping his team beat the Olympia Ogres, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Crescent City is now 30-43.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, John Birges was at the plate when Crescent City scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Krewe to go in front, 4-3.
