Ithaca Fighting Imps starter Alfredo Rodríguez was in fine form against the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats at Heron Field, leading his team to a 5-1 win. Ithaca now has a 3-game win streak.
Adrián Xirau tagged a home run off Mototsune Rin in the top of the first. His 2-run blast put the Fighting Imps on top, 2-0. In all, Xirau had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Rodríguez.
