The Virginia Palladium Sox faced a tough opponent in Westwood pitcher Neil Young, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Sixshooters Stadium by a final score of 6-3. Young went 8.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. At 40-26, the Palladium Sox find themselves in second place in the Premier AA.

Virginia used the timely hitting of Seung-hwan Pak to capture the win. The first baseman socked a solo home run in the top of the 13th inning to put the Palladium Sox ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Pak told the Virginia Citizen. "It's as simple as that."
