Dominant Performance by Hall in Bompton Win
|
The Bompton Baby Lakers picked up a win at Field of the Browns, knocking off the Germantown Uruguayans, 3-2. Starting pitcher Stewart Hall, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The first-place Baby Lakers have won 17 straight games.
Hall, a native of Muscatine, Iowa, was dealing all game. He kept Germantown hitters off-balance, while giving the Baby Lakers 8 quality innings. Hall threw 114 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 9.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Hall.
