The Greenport Harbor Whales wiggled past the Germantown Uruguayans, 3-2, at Ballpark of Albuquerque. Greenport pitcher Alfredo Molina earned player of the game honors. The save went to Joshua Dobson, his 3rd this season. Greenport improves to 44-25 with the win. They lead their division by 3 games.

Greenport used the timely hitting of Mark Quaintance to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 15th inning to put the Harbor Whales on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Quaintance said.
