Snowpeople Lose, 4-1, at Hillandale Grounds

Valley View and Ellesmere Island duked it out at Hillandale Grounds and the Cougars came out victorious.
The Valley View Cougars got a stellar effort from pitcher Rémy Moreau, helping Valley View score a 4-1 win over the visiting Ellesmere Island Snowpeople. The Cougars saw their record improve to 53-35.
Eduardo Lucciardi had a big run-scoring double for the Cougars in the bottom of the third inning. With Valley View leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Robinson Guillén and stroked the double to left-center. It was his 27th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cougars ahead, 2-0.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Moreau.
