Tight Tilt Goes to Tigers, 2-1
The Amarillo Warheads got a superb performance from pitcher Jarko Aravirta. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Twinsburg. The Tigers won the game, 2-1. In spite of the loss, Aravirta was named the player of the game. He threw 5 innings of 2-hit ball. Shoichi Iwata got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. Twinsburg has now won 4 straight.

Twinsburg took a 2-1 lead on Alohinani Puanani's 23rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Puanani hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Amarillo pitcher Leo Cassidy shaking his head.

"I really like what we did out there today," Puanani said after the game.
