The Montgomery Biscuits picked up a win at The Igloo, knocking off the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 5-3. Starting pitcher Richard Nudelman played a key role in the triumph. Ellesmere Island has now lost 5 straight.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Stanislov Navashin came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Ellesmere Island pitcher Aberto Gaddi, he hit a first pitch fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Montgomery on top, 5-3.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Nudelman.
