Valley View catcher Eduardo Lucciardi was instrumental in his team's 5-2 win over the Ballard Beavers. Lucciardi, who is tied for 2nd in the SR with a .556 slugging percentage, went 2-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cougars. Roberto Morales was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 24 of 25 save opportunities. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Valley View.
The Cougars picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
