Baby Blues Score Late to Upend Snowpeople, 3-2

Both teams had their chances, but the Quebec City Baby Blues eventually prevailed at The Igloo.
Ellesmere Island pitcher Ikaia Duncalf gave the Baby Blues all they could handle, but in the end, Quebec City left The Igloo with a 3-2 win. Duncalf allowed no earned runs on 4 hits over 7 innings. Quebec City reliever Arlen Mata picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Aberto Gaddi was saddled with the loss. Domingo Jones got credit for the save for Quebec City. It was his 12th of the year.
Scott Beavis hit a bases-clearing triple off Aberto Gaddi in the top of the ninth, which put the Baby Blues in front, 3-2. Beavis had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 5.
Beavis attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
