The Quebec City Baby Blues faced a tough opponent in Ellesmere Island pitcher Ki-seop Ch'oe, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Igloo by a final score of 1-0. Ch'oe went 7.2 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Quebec City is now 35-35.
It could have been a different outcome for Quebec City, had it not been for Neung-uk Yi, the 19-year old center fielder . Yi contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put Quebec City up, 1-0.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Ellesmere Island manager Hartmann Riedman. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
