Baby Blues Rally For Late Win Over Snowpeople
|
The Quebec City Baby Blues picked up a win at Dylan Park, knocking off the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 4-3. On the mound for Quebec City was left-hander Matt Cornett, who played a pivotal role in the win. Quebec City reliever Bill Gould picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Mun-wah Rao shouldered the loss. Quebec City, at 30-27, sits in 5th place in the Silver R.
Woody Maxwell was the walk-off hero for Quebec City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Baby Blues third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"This place was rockin'," Cornett said.
