7-4 Baby Blues Win over Fire Evens Season Record

Millard Jones did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Franklin Fire from losing, 7-4, to the Quebec City Baby Blues at Dylan Park. Jones was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Quebec City reliever Bill Gould picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Jong-hoon Wang was saddled with the loss. Getting the save was Domingo Jones, his 4th.
Victor Jensen, who is tied for 3rd in the SR in extra base hits with 18, aided the Quebec City cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the first. For the game, the left fielder went 2-4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.
"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Jensen.
The Baby Blues now have a record of 17-17 with the win over Franklin.
