Cougars Jolt Baby Blues with Late Rally
|
The Valley View Cougars took Quebec City pitcher Jing-quo Ts'ai's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Hillandale Grounds. The final score had Valley View getting past the Baby Blues, 5-1. Ts'ai went 6.1 innings and allowed no earned runs, striking out 7. The Cougars now have a record of 17-7 with the win over Quebec City.
Justin Schock hit a 2-run double off Patrick Le Gall in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Cougars in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Schock had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"I really like what we did out there today," Schock said after the game.
