Biscuits Win at Twinsburg, 7-2
|
The Montgomery Biscuits dealt the Twinsburg Tigers a 7-2 loss at Dodge Field. Randy Moore was the star on offense. He went 2-3 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. Montgomery reliever Richard Surgener got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Rodney Johnson was tagged with the loss. Montgomery is now 10-11, Twinsburg 17-4.
Montgomery used the timely hitting of Tadasu Sato to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Biscuits on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Getting the win feels nice," said Sato. "More importantly, I had a good game."
