Quebec City Baby Blues starter Norm Wells was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 4-1. The win moves Quebec City to a record of 4-4.
Quebec City used the timely hitting of Steve Turner to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Baby Blues on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Turner.
