The Hudsonville Flanderses got a superb performance from pitcher Roberto Córdova. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Tulsa. The Otters won the game, 10-5. In spite of the loss, Córdova was named the player of the game. He came in in relief and pitched to 17 batters . The Otters go to 35-61, putting them last in the Premier R.
The result might have been different for Tulsa, had it not been for Hong-bo Chu. The third baseman produced a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Otters ahead, 10-2. For the game, Chu had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"It was a solid team effort," said Chu after the game.
