The exploits of right fielder Bilal Hussain, who is tied for 6th in the PR in RBI with 49, helped the Long Island Ducks defeat the Redwood Rhinos, 7-1. Hussain was 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times. With the win, the Ducks improved to 55-40.
The outcome might have been different for Long Island, had it not been for Ramón Semprún, the 21-year old second baseman . Semprún stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to put Long Island up, 7-1. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
