The Long Island Ducks defeated the Crowley Cajuns, 1-0, in USPL Rookie action at Titans Ballpark, with Long Island pitcher Finley Brinley named player of the game. The Ducks, at 43-29, have now won 4 straight.

Long Island used the timely hitting of Bilal Hussain to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Ducks ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was an important one.

Brinley called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
