Dalzell Delivers Walk-Off Win for Cajuns
|
The Crowley Cajuns got a magnificent effort from pitcher Kuniyuki Sugimoto, who kept Surprise hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Cajuns win at Titans Ballpark. The 7th-place Cajuns now have a win-loss record of 25-29.
Crowley won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With no outs and Gabriel García on the mound for Surprise, center fielder Rich Dalzell hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Cajuns fans to their feet.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Dalzell.
