Victory Over Outlaws Takes Cleveland to 17-6
|
Cleveland right-hander Chris Holland was in fine form, shutting out the Nashville Outlaws, 3-0. Holland, now 2-1, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. Cleveland has an impressive 17-6 record.
In the top of the second, Sadatake Abe hit a solo home run for Cleveland. The 7th home run of the season for the Cleveland right fielder put the Browns on top, 1-0.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Cleveland manager Greg Diersing.
