Cleveland rode a good effort from starter Eric Matson to beat the Buckhead Bowties at Factory of Sadness. The final score was 3-1. Tom Holloway locked down his 7th save. Cleveland, now 16-5, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Matson, who dominated for Cleveland, earned the victory to move to 4-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 6 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 10. Buckhead batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"I like the roll we're on," said Cleveland manager Greg Diersing.
