Ballpark of Hughesville was the site for USPL Rookie action featuring the Crowley Cajuns and Tulsa Otters.

Tulsa Otters starter Tomás Ramírez pitched a strong game against the Crowley Cajuns at Ballpark of Hughesville, leading the Otters to a 8-2 win. The winning pitcher was Ramírez, now 1-4. He tossed 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 4.

Mike Townsend had a chance to do some damage in the top of the ninth. With Crowley trailing 8-1, Crowley had the bases loaded. Townsend hit a sacrifice fly. But it was not enough. Crowley would not finish the comeback.
