Rhinos Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Redwood Rhinos grabbed a 7-3 win over the Crowley Cajuns at Titans Ballpark. Redwood right fielder Johnny Schultz was 1-1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once to earn player of the game honors. The win was credited to Gyu-hyun Chong in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Ron Francis took the loss. The Rhinos now own a record of 9-11.

Redwood used the timely hitting of Nate Martin to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rhinos on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Martin said afterward that he hoped the win would galvanize the team.
