Ryan McGinnity had a big hand in Fort Knox's 10-6 triumph over Hicksville. He rattled off 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scoring 2 times and knocking in 3 runs. For his performance, McGinnity was named player of the game. Fort Knox reliever Dan Smith picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Edgardo Costello was saddled with the loss. The win lifts Fort Knox to a record of 9-5.

McGinnity contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Fort Knox in the top of the eighth. With his team trailing 5-4, McGinnity took a fastball from Edgardo Costello and stroked the double to right-center. His 3rd double of the season allowed the Centennial to leap in front, 6-5.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said McGinnity.
