Fort Knox rode a fine outing from starter Pedro Arredondo to victory over the Crowley Cajuns at Ballpark of Baxter. The final score was 2-0. Fort Knox reliever Connor Wilson picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Ron Francis shouldered the loss. The win gives the Centennial a record of 7-4.

Fort Knox took a 2-0 lead on Iván Piñón's 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Piñón hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Crowley pitcher Ron Francis shaking his head.

"We played hard and won," said Arredondo. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
