The first-place Indiana Lead Sox welcomed Tulsa to The Lead Mine.
The Indiana Lead Sox picked up a win at The Lead Mine, knocking off the Tulsa Otters, 6-3. Starting pitcher Basilio Delgado played a key role in the triumph. Delgado got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 7.1 innings. Delgado allowed 1 earned run. Earning his 1st save for Indiana was Tony Ruvenacht.
In the bottom of the second, Indiana catcher Junji Matsui had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and two out, Matsui stroked a 2-run triple to left-center. It made the score 3-0, Indiana. For the game, he went 1-4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Matsui.
The Lead Sox, now 4-0, have been playing some good baseball.
