Blaze Walk It Off for 60th Win of Season

The Chicago Tula and South Beach Blaze provided some drama at The Ballpark on the Beach.
The South Beach Blaze bested the Chicago Tula, 6-5, at The Ballpark on the Beach. Furgentley Jamanica was named player of the game. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. José Gómez got credit for the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Jamanica hit a fastball from José Rodríguez for a run-scoring single. The Blaze, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Jamanica told the South Beach Gazette.
The Blaze saw their win-loss record go to 60-33. At the same time, the Tula fell to 44-49.
