Seahawks Clip Arryns in Tight Contest

The Seahawks grabbed a win, 3-2, at Arryns Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Lake Erie pitcher Don Murray. Murray went 5 innings and allowed no earned runs. Myrtle Beach has 3 straight wins, Lake Erie 3 straight losses.
Myrtle Beach used the clutch hitting of Christian Davis to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Seahawks ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We've got a great group of guys," Davis said, "and we're having fun right now."
