The Galesburg Guzzlers defeated the Eugene Vandals, 4-3, in USPL Single A action at Galesburg Field, with Galesburg pitcher Ron Jordan named player of the game. The Guzzlers' win now puts them at 32-49.

Galesburg took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, third baseman Shi-xian Zhào hit a 2-run home run that electrified the crowd.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Jordan.
