The Cut Off Crawdads defeated the Lake Erie Arryns, 16-4, at Arryns Ballpark today. Leading the charge for Cut Off was designated hitter Dustin Damitz. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. The second-place Crawdads lifted their record to 49-27.

It could have been a different outcome for Cut Off, had it not been for Aaron Powell, the 21-year old shortstop . Powell contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the second inning to put Cut Off up, 2-0.

"A great game, a great day," said Damitz about the win. "I can't complain."
