The South Beach Blaze topped the Kingston Mangos, 6-1, in USPL Single A action at Mango Yard. The player of the game was South Beach pitcher and Lawton, Oklahoma native Jason Miller. José Juárez recorded his 1st save for South Beach. South Beach leads the Premier A by 5˝ games.

South Beach used the timely hitting of Yoshiki Shimizu to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Blaze ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was an important one.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Miller.
