Pitcher Li-chi Lou was sensational for the Galesburg Guzzlers in his team's 2-0 triumph over the Myrtle Beach Seahawks. Lou received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Daniel St. John, credited with the save, is now 2 for 4 in save opportunities. Even with the win, the Guzzlers have a dismal 22-43 record.

Lou, a native of Jiulong, Hong Kong, was dealing all game. He kept Myrtle Beach hitters off-balance, while giving the Guzzlers 7.1 quality innings. Lou threw 82 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 5.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Guzzlers manager Javier González. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
