Guzzlers Continue Skid Thanks to Porter, Tula
The Chicago Tula knocked off the Galesburg Guzzlers, 13-6, at Galesburg Field. Albert Porter, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Chicago won. The designated hitter was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. This loss makes it 9 in a row for Galesburg.

Chicago used the clutch hitting of Ramón Rodríguez to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Tula the lead, 8-6. For the game, Rodríguez had 2 singles and 2 doubles in 5 at-bats.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Rodríguez told the Chicago Bulletin.
