The Lake Erie Arryns picked up a win at Little Gold Sox Park, knocking off the Chicago Gold Sox, 6-4. Starting pitcher Artie Crumpacker was an essential part of his team's success. Lake Erie is now 18-24, Chicago 22-20.

Lake Erie relied on the bat of Daryl Pethick to get the win. The center fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Arryns ahead, 2-1. For the game, Pethick had 1 double and 1 home run in 6 at-bats.
