The Cleveland Browns handed the Mississippi Mockingbirds a loss at Factory of Sadness. The final score was 8-4. Sadatake Abe was named player of the game for Cleveland. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Eric Matson got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 4 runs on 7 hits in 7 innings. Abe had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-1 fastball from Todd Denton, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Browns a 7-4 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Abe.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Abe told the Cleveland Herald.
