The Cut Off Crawdads racked up a win at Crawdads Field, bumping off the Lake Erie Arryns, 2-0. Ramón Aragón, who started for Cut Off, pitched effectively for his team. Walt McPike recorded his 9th save for Cut Off. Cut Off is now 21-18, Lake Erie 16-23.

The Crawdads liked what they saw from Aragón. The 20-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Arryns to no earned runs on 2 hits over 7.1 innings, and striking out 6.
