Win Streak Now at 6 for Arryns
|
Crawdads Field was the site of a competitive game between the Cut Off Crawdads and Lake Erie Arryns.
In a low-scoring tilt between the Lake Erie Arryns and the Cut Off Crawdads, Don Murray was the difference-maker. The Lake Erie right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-2 win. Murray, the winner, moves to 2-3. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 4 walks. Leonardo Trujillo, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.
Lake Erie used the timely hitting of Patrick Mildren to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Arryns on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"It feels good to get this one," Mildren told the Lake Erie Times.
The 8th-place Arryns have won 6 in a row.
