The Chicago Tula faced a tough opponent in South Beach pitcher Jason Miller, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Ballpark on the Beach by a final score of 7-5. Miller went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs. Chicago reliever Ashley Blamey was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Dawson Randolph. With the win, the Tula improved to 11-9.
Henry Dalton had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the 14th for Chicago. With the bases loaded and the Tula leading 6-5, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"Getting the win feels nice," said Dalton. "More importantly, I had a good game."
