Tula Lose, 7-5, at Seahwaks Stadium
|
Jim Henson did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Chicago Tula from losing, 7-5, to the Myrtle Beach Seahawks at Seahwaks Stadium. Henson was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI. William Morán got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits in 5.2 innings. Zack Coffey earned the save for Myrtle Beach, his 1st of the year.
In the bottom of the first, Magnus Fjord hit a run-scoring single for Myrtle Beach. The 4th hit of the season for the Myrtle Beach center fielder put the Seahawks on top, 2-1.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Fjord said after the game.
Myrtle Beach has a record of 2-2.
