The Mississippi Mockingbirds electrified the home crowd at Magnolia Park with a walk-off win.

The Mississippi Mockingbirds did just enough to secure a 5-4 victory over the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at Magnolia Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Jorge Otero, who captured player of the game honors. The Mockingbirds keep rolling, raising their record to 7-3.

Bob Sanders was the walk-off hero for Mississippi. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mockingbirds pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Otero called the triumph "a good team win."
