The Syracuse Storm picked up a win at The Coffin, knocking off the Grim Reapers, 4-1. Starting pitcher Hank Lynn, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Nate Flores notched his 6th save in 10 chances. Syracuse has now won 4 games in a row.
One pivotal at-bat came in the bottom of the fifth with one out. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Reapers trailing 4-1, Hank Lynn needed to make a quality pitch. He threw a full count changeup to retire Danny Warner, who popped out.
