Téllez, Torch Get 5-3 Win
|
The Mancelona Torch topped the Niagara Falls Expos, 5-3, in USSL Single A action at Waterfall Park. The player of the game was Mancelona pitcher and Sabadell, Spain native Javier Téllez. The Torch bumped their record to 42-37 with this latest triumph.
The Expos had little chance against Téllez, who overpowered Niagara Falls hitters and struck out 13.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Téllez said.
