Jerry Scott made an impact in the 5-3 Delaware win over Laredo. Scott, who is tied for 9th in the SA in bases on balls with 30, went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The 1787 BC, at 52-26, have now won 10 straight.
The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Delaware trailing 3-2, Scott belted a fastball from Shigeaki Shikichi for a 3-run home run, sending the 1787 BC to a dramatic walk-off win.
