1787 BC Deal Expos Painful Loss
The Delaware 1787 BC grabbed a 6-5 win over the Niagara Falls Expos at Carrier Field. Delaware center fielder August Force went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 to earn player of the game honors. The win was credited to Phil Britt in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Virgil Cook took the loss. Delaware has now won 3 in a row.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Delaware left fielder Tyler Namaes, facing Stephen Johnson, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the 1787 BC the 6-5 win.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Force said.
